Can from Ebenezers, Nantwich. An aroma mainly of hops, but with fruity undertones and rye and pine thrown in for good measure. Pours a golden orange with a small off-white head and good lacing. Pine to the fore in the mouth, together with hoppy bitterness. Fruits are then underneath as well – tangerine, grapefruit and hints of pepper. Finish is very dry and bitter. They call this a West Coast IPA, I’m not sure why. More of a traditional style IPA to me. Very nice, but not sor session drinking !

Can. Turner’s, Sheffield, I think. Pale orange gold. Fully opaque. Thin and bubbly, glossy, bright white head. Nose has sweet peach. Ripe strawberry. Apricot. Creamy malt. Taste is a little sweet, with a soft, estery, light pine bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. Fine carbonation. Bitterness rises and lingers on the finish.

2/I/21 - 44cl can from Cloudwater webshop, shared @ home, BB: 5/V/21, canned: 5/XI/20 (2021-7)
Clear light blond to yellow beer, small creamy bit irregular off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty dank, fruity, some onions, bit cheesy, more dank hops, bit resinous. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: little sweet, very fruity, oranges, orange peel, citrus notes, tropical fruits, soft bitterness, some papaya, earthy. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, bit resinous, dry, citrus, some grapefruit, tropical fruits, lovely stuff, like it a lot!

Can. Light haze on this gold beer (Hazy dipa? If this, they all are FFS!), small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, a light but pleasing creamy sweetness. Light but bright pine. Juicy citrus, light bright orange, a little hop spice. Touch of tropical fruits. Smooth finish. Pretty drinkable, well integrated and balanced and bright.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy golden body with thick white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of bubblegum, peach and just-opened hop bag. Flavour of mango and nectarine with a hoppy, slightly sharp finish. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A quality IPA with a punchy hop combination. Excellent.

440ml can. Hazy golden, big white head. Aroma of ripe citrus fruits, orange, mango, pine, and a bit of weird herbal thing going on. Taste is slightly sweet, ripe citrus, orange, grapefruit, mango, resin, pine, light bitter. Medium body. Nice enough, can was a bit old so giving the benefit of the doubt - hopefully re-rate with a fresher sample in the future.
