Description
Conceived as a ‘nomadic’ project, The Beak has spent several years creating unfiltered, seasonally-inspired beer with friends at some the greatest UK breweries, including North Brew Co, Partizan, Beavertown, Burning Sky and Northern Monk. We've now laid roots in our hometown of Lewes in East Sussex, where we've built a 15-BBL neighbourhood brewery and taproom with a mixed-fermentation project and weekend street food canteen. Please come and say hi!

440ml can from Middle Farm, Firle and shared in Kuala Lumpur. Poured almost black in colour with little life. The aroma is roasty, aromatic, toffee, vanilla. The flavour is moderate sweet and liquorice bitter, with a silky smooth, rich, oily, roasty, toffee, banana vanilla palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Can at Bistro Zizkov, Östersund. Light haze to it. Rather thin even though it was a pleasant hop combination.

Can from Middle Farm, Firle. Poured a chalky light yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting, frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, light lemon citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, somewhat light, grainy, juicy lemon lime citrus, light piney, dry hop bitter palate. Nicely balanced and plenty of flavour for such a light beer.
