Tap @ Qvarteret. Slightly unclear dark golden body under a medium sized white head. Mild malty aroma. Taste is sweet malt, wort, bread, hint off toffee and low bitterness. Medium body with same aftertaste. Drinkable but slightly boring, not much going on here.

Bottle @ Qvarteret. Clear, pale golden body with practically no head. Mild aroma, apple, light wood and a faint hint of Aquavit. Taste is light and mild with a mild taste of apple, smooth wood impression and balancing impact from barrel alcohol. Probably some aquavit involved here but not to obvious. Soft and easy going, quite smooth and actually a lot better than the non barrel version (from tap at least.)

Bottle @ Håndverkeren. Almost clear deep golden body with a small but lacing off-white head. Nice citric fruity aroma with peaches, some caramel malt and fruit candy. Rather sweet, malty, caramel, fruity like aroma with fruity and resin hops, pleasant bitterness. Fine balanced body with a pleasant aftertaste. Nice malty IPA that’s both sweet and bitter.

Bottle @ Haandverkeren. More than less clear, pale golden body with a nice white head. Mild fruity aroma with hint of pale malt and slightly floral. Flavor is light, pale malt, some citric fruit and moderate bitterness. Body feels a bit thin and rather light in aftertaste. Drinkable NA beer, but I suspect this bottle might be e bit old as I did not find much of the fruity aromas described from some of the previous ratings.

Bottle. Unclear golden body with a small white head. Medium malty aroma with grain and some fruity yeast. Flavor is sweet and smooth malty with a fruity touch, mild grassy bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste with soft malt, moderate bitterness and a floral touch. Decent but not very interesting.

Bottle. Dark brown body with a moderate sized, dense beige head. Aroma has roasted dark malt, caramel and quite much chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet, roasted dark malt, chocolate, some caramel, a bit nutty and some kind of dry bitterness. A bit thin bodied and pleasant aftertaste in the same direction as the rest, perhaps a bit dryer than the main flavor. Feels a bit in the crossing between a Brown Ale and a Porter, nice and food friendly but I miss the little something extra. Becomes a bit average. Aroma is the best part.

Bottle from Gulating as Risholmen Sushi ale. Hazy orange golden body with a very thin and small white head that fades right away. Aroma has peach, ginger and chewing gum. Flavor is medium sweet, peach, fruit, slightly mineral, light ginger, chewing gum and ripe citric fruit. A bit thin and watery in body with aftertaste in the same direction. Quite unbalanced and not very interesting really, despite the idea of ginger and Sorachi hops. I honestly don't think I would chose this together with a Sushi, but this might just be a matter of taste. As a beer in general this was not a hit in my book. The idea is fun, but the result become just boring. A regular goose or a pure Geuze wwithout any kind of bulshit may be my perfect Sushi beer.

Bottle. Slightly unclear pale golden body with a small but dense white head. Aroma is light citric fruity, lactic and hint of coriander and minerals. Nice and fresh taste, balanced mils acidity, fruity, spicy and minerals like aroma. Medium body and some more minerals in aftertaste. Quite gentle and a bit subtle in the start, almost a bit anonymous, but it’s getting better after a little while.

Bottle. Slightly unclear golden body with a nice white head. Mild fruity aroma that feels a bit sweet and Belgian in a way. Flavor is sweet, mild pale malt, spicy yeast and quite much like an average Belgium blond. Medium body and light aftertaste. Decent.
