Bottle (from Alko web). Reddish amber colour with no head. Aroma is floral tones with some sugary and honey tones as well as some mild nectary tones. Flavour is raisins, some floral, honey and mild alcohol sweetness as well. Nicely round mouthfeel and also not sticky sweet, even though being rather much on the sweet side.

Flat, clear dark golden color. Aroma is slightly dry fruity, dark honey, minerals, alcohol, bark, fruit stones, nuts, dried berries. Taste is sweet fruity, dark honey, dried red berries, alcohol, minerals, vanilla, fruit stones, nuts, bark. Boozy and sweet fruity mouthfeel. Nice one.

Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish mineraly, dusty honey, fruit stones, minerals, alcohol, bark, grass, hints of cellar and sour berries. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh boozy mouthfeel. Fair enough.

November 2007: Sampled bottle, RBNAG 2007 in Grimstad. Deep/warm golden colour. No carbonation. Aroma of honey and raw alcohol. Very sweet flavour of honey and oak.

October 2011: Shared bottle, RBNAG 2011. Still mead. Golden colour. Aroma of honey, spices and fusel alcohols. Sweet flavour of honey, hints of mild spices / herbs. Nice to drink.

Intense oaky and honey sweet flavour, very impressive but too sweet for me. (No wonder it is sweet, with the insane amount of honey it is made with.)

Bottle. Clear pale golden color with no head. Aroma is beeswax, nice aromatic honey, not too intense. Taste is well-balanced, straight honey, enough acidity to balance the sweetness, a dash of christmas spices. Oily mouthfeel, flat. Decent stuff!
