Bottle. Pale golden color with no head. Aroma is big honey, beeswax, flowery, plums indeed. Taste is the same, vineous, big booze, oily mouthfeel, flat. Tasty enough, but not my favourite.

Finally, FINALLY! Huge thanks SinH4 for sharing this 2019 bottle with me! Lovely red-amber body, shiny, no head. Huge aroma, sweet, full honey, a fair bit of alcohol, but well integrated. Raspberries? Hmm, sure, there is a fruitiness, candied, liqueurish. And oh my... fantastic smooth honey profile, caramelly, lightly woody, with just the teeniest bit of raspberry candy or dried fruit, especially by the finish just so smooth, so well balanced. Never feels cloying, despite that's the fun part, the fruitiness seems to have provided some vague, well, wouldn't say tartness really, but it is in a way. A masterpiece, a world classic, a mead that's more than worthy of its hype. Poland can and should be proud of the hype.

Bottled (from Alko web, drank with TBone during AIH147). Golden colour, no head. Aroma honey, chili, ginger, some mild alcohol. Flavour is honey, chilil, ginger and some alcohol to it. Not that balanced. We couldn't finish the bottle with TBone, so luckily meads keep ok in bottle and I kept it and shared with some locals (non-RB-people) in Vaasa area and some foreign ratebeerians too.

75cl bottle bought at the airport in Krakow, Poland. Pours a beautiful red brown, clear, no foam. Aroma is of caramel, nuts, barrel. Body dense and fairly sticky, with no carbonation. Taste is definitely sweet, with a nice and long aromatic final.

Bottle. An almost clear one, deep golden in color, still and lightly oily. Honey driven aroma with some flower and herb. Grassy. It's full to medium bodied, sweet and warming, with lots of honey flavor. Herbal and flowery, and a bit alcoholic. Long finish. A bit rough, but quite decent. 230311
