750ml bottle from Scrattings. Yellow gold colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of perry pear, fruity, musty, some woody funk. Taste is sweet, perry pear, fruity fleshy, with some citric tartness and tangy woody tannins. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, medium-sweet finish. Quite drinkable.

75cl bottle shared with Soph. Murky misty pale golden yellow complexion. Farmhouse perry funk aroma. Taste presents a firm acidity with gentle perry funk, not too fruity but some characterful green horse pear nuances start to emerge. Fairly dry close, leaving lasting acidic impressions and a yearning for more fruitiness. Ok overall.

500ml bottle from Scrattings. Slightly hazy orange gold colour, short-lived thin bubbly white foam head and aroma of sharp apple, fruity, buttery, caramel. Taste is tangy, sharp fleshy apple, acidic, lemon citric with some caramel and funk notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, very dry tart sour finish. Nicely drinkable.

Taste is sweet, perry pear, fruity, fleshy, floral, with citric tartness, some light funk and alittle tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium-sweet finish. Well balanced, nicely drinkable.

16/4/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear very pale green gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is ripe pear, touch of lime juice. Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, light sparkling carbonation. Nice bittersweet citric finish. Enjoyable.

75cl bottle via the Scrattings web portal on Good Friday. Pours a nice glowing gold with faint mist. Aroma of very mild medium apple fruit. Extremely light on the palate, clean with no tannins and fairly dry overall with not much depth of flavour but a pleasant fruitiness is there to be found.

Taste is slightly tart, fleshy pear, fruity, drying, with citric, lemon-lime, and white-wine notes. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium-dry lightly tart citric finish. Nicely drinkable.
