Taste is sweetish, perry pear, fruity, floral, honey note, with light citric acidity and woody mellow funk. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium-sweet peary finish. Nicely drinkable.

5/10/2022. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear very pale, golden tint, and minimal head. Aroma is pungent pear, slightly mucky, caramel, touch of vanilla. Moderate sweetness, light green and tartness. Moderate body, slightly watery, low carbonation. Some dryness to finish. Not bad but bit bland.

500ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. Sparkling, clear orange gold colour, bubbly white foam head that quickly dissipates to a thin layer and aroma of zingy apple, fleshy acidic, alittle funk. Taste is tart, tangy, apple, green apple, fleshy, drying, with puckering citric acidity. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, light carbonation, very dry acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.

500ml bottle delivered from Scrattings, Wiveliscombe and drunk at home. Mid- to dark gold, mostly clear and flat. Smells of appleskin, some brown sugar and sweet cooking spice, a little bit of tea. Taste is very sour with notes of crabapple and Vinegar. Dry, dry finish. Not great.
