Bottle at the school before watching middle daughter give a presentation on octopi, camouflage and art. It was brilliant, she won her year group and bagged a trophy and 100 quid. I was very proud and very impressed with her. Much more than this beer which had a strong corn taste and it didn't do it for me. Its a beer.

I believe this beer is actually brewed by Brains. Anyway, cask at Imperial Tavern, Worcester. Pours golden amber with a small foamy off-white head and good lacing. Malts are prominent in the aroma, alongside chestnuts and traces of hops and marmalade. In the mouth it is sweet but with some underlying bitterness which gradually increases. It is juicy with a creamy texture with flavour of oranges, traditional hops and a hint of peanut butter. Bitterness to the fore in a slightly fruity finish. Not drunk this for a good many years – it’s significantly better now than I remember it !

473ml can. Pours a crystal clear gold with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of bready wheat malt, red apple and floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy wheat malt, red apple and grassy hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. I really wanted to hate on this, but it's pretty solid as far as Pale Lagers go. Refreshing and crushable.
