Description
Since George and Susannah Bateman opened our independent family brewery in 1874, we’ve been using the best possible ingredients and craft brewing methods to make beers that people love.
Four generations later, and we’re still doing things our own way – and have quite a few more beers to our name.

Gravicask at The 14th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival, Marquee Bar A. Shared with Finn on the first day of the festival. Beige head over a clear amber body, dotted spots on the glass. Moderate caramel fruity aromas. Mixed taste of caramel malts and oily hops. Ends dry and bittersweet. Pretty alright. (Nottingham 12.10.2022).

Gravicask at The 14th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival, Marquee Bar A. Shared with Finn on the first day of the festival. A ring of bubbles to the rim, near-black body, fair lacing. Inviting smell of nutty malts and dark fruits. Blended taste character of nuts, chocolate, prunes and dark berries. Smooth malt-fruity close. Medium bodied. Tasty (Nottingham 12.10.2022).

Gravicask at The 14th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival, Marquee Bar A. Shared with Finn on the first day of the festival. Bright amber body, lacing rings down the glass, covering off-white head. Quite inviting smell of leafy hops, dry. Flavoured with ripe citrus and mid-sweet malts. Malt-fruity ending, bittersweet. Quite alright. (Nottingham 12.10.2022).
