Bottle. 75cl corked. Clear, golden body with a small white head. Caramel, some hops and sweetness on the nose. Not bad, but not exciting either. Caramel, some hops, malt and sweetness in the flavor, which finishes lightly hopped. Medium body. Quite sweet for an IPA, but decent anyway. (070331)

Bottle, 75cl corked. A clear, brown beer with an off-white head. Caramel and some roasted malt in the aroma and flavor. A little fruityness and some hoppy bitterness too in the flavor. Medium body. Quite mediocre. Rating: 5-3-5-3-11-2.7. (080620)

Bottle. (75cl corked) Clear, brown body with an off-white head. Caramel, some dried fruits and sweetness in the nose. Nice flavor with malt, caramel, some sugar and a wee hoppiness. Medium body and caramel to finish it. Quaffable but a bit boring. Why Carlsberg would want to set up a brewhouse or a new brand to make mediocre beers in Denmark these days I really don’t understand. Bottled, vintage 2006
Clear ruby red color, small off-white head. Sweetish berry-lemony aroma. Lightly caramelly - candies, toffee and berries in the flavor, a bit fizzy mouthfeel. Like drinking alcopop with malts and hops. Sugary finish.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Amber colour, mediumsized off-white/beigeish head. Aroma is nutmeg, toffee and some caramel malts and hops. Flavour is fudgeish toffee, metal, dark fruits, spices, nutmeg and some malts. A very pleasant beer, don’t serve it too cold though, as it’s flavour and aroma starts living as it get a bit warmer.

Sample from 75 cL bottle, thanks to joergen. Pours unclear yellow. Aroma is wheat and dill. Taste is sweet, notes of wheat and dill. Soft mouthfeel. Soft and sweet finish with a touch of annis. Sadly does the dill ruine this beer for me (I’ll not return)

Draft. A dark nut-brown beer with a dense dark beige head. The aroma is sweet with slight acidic notes of herbs. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, as well as lighter notes of nuts and brown sugar, but also a light acidity towards the end, which is slightly dry and with notes of herbs lingering.

66/75 cL bottle. Pours brown/orange with a short lasting off-white head leaving a nice rim. Aroma is yeasty and alcohol. Yeast is both Carlsbergensis and something else. Taste is rather caramelly/malty and yeasty, some fruit notes too. Weak belgian - but a good beer afterall.
