Tap @ at Proeflokaal Arendsnest. Black body under a small, lacing beige head. Rather strong aroma of dark, roasted malt, coffee and some dry fruit. Mild warming alcohol. Taste is dark roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, dry fruit, solid bitterness and smooth alcohol. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. All over a nice imp. Stout.

(Draft at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 17 Aug 2025) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Malty, roasted, sweetish taste with dark chocolate, black coffee, vanilla, cinnamon and a balanced cacao bitterness. Almost full body, quite sweet. On the sweet side, but quite well balanced with rich flavours of chocolate and vanilla. Very nice.

On tap at Proeflokaal Arendsnest. Very smooth, not too warming. Roasted, burnt malts, dark chocolate, some coffee and dark dried fruit. Feels like there's some kind of spirits too, but not on a pushing way. 747415 251109

Malty, roasted taste with notes of strong black coffee, chocolate, liquorice, treacle, oak wood, possibly a touch of jenever and a balanced coffee bitterness in a slightly boozy and warming finish. Full body, sweet. Rich and powereful, still in good balance. Very nice.

Blik gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een troebel oranje bruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van thee en hop. De smaak is kruidig, thee achtig en droog.

Tap at KEG. Hazy golden, no head. Sweet tropical fruity nose and taste with a faint boozy touch in the latter. Light to medium body, long sweet finish, soft carbo. A bit too sweet to my liking.
