Blik thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van chocolade, toffee en vanille. De smaak is zoet, chocolade en melkachtig.

Aroma of malts, citrus fruits, floral hops. Flavour is citrus and malts. Nice and refreshing, but also a bit run-of-the-mill.

Aroma of tropical fruits, grapefruit, grassy notes, pine, hint of biscuity malt, strong fresh hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a strong bitter finish. Body is above medium. Tasty hop bomb, very good.

Aroma of malt, cocoa powder, lots of vanilla, milk chocolate, crème brûlée, coffee, cream. Flavour is sweet. This is a very fine ’dessert beer’, sweet but not cloying and the flavours are in balance.

From tap at Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Aroma is juicy tropical fruits, mango, grapefruit, lots of hop, orange, some pine resin, malt. Flavour is light sweet with a bitter finish. Body is medium to full. Tasty hop bomb.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Aroma is dark malt, lots of chocolate, tasty coconut, cream, roast, more chocolate. Flavour is sweet with a fine bittersweet finish. Body is full and creamy. Great coconut Stout, like a liquid Bounty, I love it.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Aroma is spicy yeast, touch of banana, fruity hops, and wheaty malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Very nice, as promised hoppier and more bitter than the average Dunkelweizen.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Aroma is fruity hops, tropical notes, roasted dark malt and grapefruit with notes of chocolate and pine resin. Flavour is mildly sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Nicely hopped Black IPA.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Roasted malt and chocolate aroma with whiskey barrel notes and plenty of coconut (although a bit more restrained than base beer). Above medium sweet flavour with a moderate roasty bitter finish. Body is medium to full. Smooth with great balance, not boozy at all, highly drinkable. Great imperial whiskey coconut stout.
