Tap at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam on 19th March 2010. Hazy gold with thin white lacing head. Earthy and pungent yet clean with a herby hop kick. Ongoing bitterness lasts to a short dry finish. RE-RATING: On tap at Beer Temple, Amsterdam on 20th March 2014. Hazy amber with whitish lacing foam. Zingy hoppy aroma with cheesy yeasts. Tart grapefruit and tangerine in-mouth with discreet savoury notes. Finish is exquisitely hoppy with citrus, herb and grassiness. Zingy yet velvety mouthfeel and plenty of body.

Bottle 30 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Slightly hazy golden with a fine white head. Aroma is very citrusy aroma hops - American? Medium body, sweet fruit and malts and the citrusy hops leave their mark again without adding any massive bitterness. A fine, fresh and drinkable session beer. 041009

Free beer on tap at ’t Arendsnest today, for the announcement of them opening an American beer bar in Amsterdam and of course for their new housebeer, Tempelbier blond. And it’s a nice one. Clear golden colour, thick creamy white lasting head. Aroma of light hops and some sweet malts. Flavour is light malty, light sweet, fruity and hoppy, with a nice light bitter to bitter finish. Medium bodied, well balanced, highly drinkable.
