On tap at Arendsnest. Black colour, creamy beige head. Aroma of loads of vanilla, crème brûlée, some light earthy notes, roasted malts, coffee. Flavour is way less sweet than expected, vanilla, custard, hard roasted malts, coffee, vanilla in the coffee bitter finish. Medium to full-bodied, soft mouthfeel, alcohol barely noticed. Great beer.

Tap at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is light yeast and malt with some creamy caramel. The flavour is moderate bitter moderate sweet with a liqourice malt sweet marshmallow like palate. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Really liked this but preferred it before the oxygen got a hold.

Draught @ t Arendsnest. Opaque black color, small off-white head. Smell and taste sweetness, loads of vanilla (especially in the aroma), roasted malts, dark malts. Dislike the aroma because of the overdose of vanilla and ’hopjesvla’ but the taste is quite nice actually.
