330ml bottle on the Belgian Beer Cruise. 2 weeks shy of the 6 month mark. Fresh hoppy fruity character with some moderate brett notes just beginning to shine through, gentle bitterness. A few months longer in the bottle to encourage the brett to shine through and this is a winner 330ml bottle, from Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury March 1st 2015. Nice and fresh, only a couple of months old so much less of the bitterness I remember from my last bottle. Pours hazy amber with medium white head. Nice sweet hoppy aroma. Taste is fresh, hoppy, sweet, with light saison-esque spice and ultra high carbonation. Refreshing and hugely enjoyable beer.

330ml bottle from Masuyo’s in Asagaya. Poured into a stemmed tulip. Hazy brown/orange color with a huge off-white soapy head. Strong barnyard, brett, orange zest, brown sugar aromas present. Nice lacing throughout. Nice sweet/sour notes on the palate with a great long dry finish. Citrus and brett notes become more present as the beer warms up to room temperature. World class beer.

330ml bottle. Six months after bottling date. Pours hazy amber with a very impressive rocky white head. Tonnes of lacing. Funky aroma of lemons, yeast, sourness, reminds me of a faro. Sour fruity and spicy taste with a bitter finish. Meh, I don’t get this beer.

20/01/2015 33cl bottle @ Vert de Gris, Brussels. Nice orange amber with perfect foamy white head. Aroma : Hops, spcies, yeast. Taste : hops & spices, yeast, some sourness, some candy sugar and nice long lasting bitterness in the end. Damn, I can taste it again on writting this. Very nice mouthfeel. Even if beers like this are usually not my faivorites and the first taste is sometimes an effort, there’s just one possible rating, as nothing compares to it!

Pours a dark amber color, topped with a generous white head. Malty aroma, some caramel notes and a bit yeasty. Taste sweet and malty, again a little bit yeasty, later some sourry notes with ok bitterness in the end. Not bad, but that’s not exactly what I like.

Bottle at home. Pours cloudy yellow, nose is spicy, floral, taste is similar, dry - had it too young apparently.

Poured from a fresh bottle - Pours with a sparse white foam head into an opaque dark brown. The nose shows a lemon tartness akin with some slight brett tones. The palate is slight sweet with a very slight brettiness. Medium-full bodied and very foamy. A medium bitterness shows at the end. Bitterness seems somewhat off-putting as the brettiness should take center stage. Poured from a 10 month old bottle - Colors are the same except the foam is slightly more dirty. The nose shows more brettiness. The brettiness becomes more pronounced in comparison to the fresh version. The bitterness also slightly increases. Shows good potential to age a lot further.
