Cask at Simon the Tanner - London. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Pale malt in the nose, light grain, lemon rind. Light sweet flavour with some floral hops, grass, lemon peel. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more grassy and floral hops, dry pale grains, more citrus peel. Not bad on the whole.

Draft at Craft 100 Spring 2016 - Craft Beer Co. Clapham, London. Pours hazy yellow with a white cream topping. The aroma has notes of zesty lemon, grapefruit and melon. Light to medium sweet flavour, with pithy and zesty citrus, wheat bread, lemon rind. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely pithy and zesty on the finish. Tasty gear.

Gravity cask at the 2016 Cambridge Beer Festival. Properly black - OK dark brown but just - with a creamy tan head and an impressive amount of natural carbonation. Over-roasted coffee competes with pine needles and turpentine for the aroma. Bitter taste with fruitiness of the hop dominating. Taste is slightly acrid due to the intensity of the roasted malt but I can live with that.
