On tap at the Mad Squirrel, Chesham. A glossy dark chestnut colour, almost black, with a loose beige head; dry chocolate malt aroma; dry and rather thin in the mouth, with a mix of lightly and heavily roasted malts, some almost charred; then some bitterness and burned toast to finish. A rather good mild.
