Description

Pour is a cloudy yellow with an average white head. Aroma is some citrus, yeast and spice. Flavor is again lots of citrus and spice with a litte barnyard toward the end. This is pretty good and a decent sipper.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours medium brown with a slight creamy beige head. Aroma is browned roast malt with leather or tobacco. Mediumbody; mild carbonation. Flavor is brown malt, herby hop, and tobacco notes. Astringent. Finishes dry, bitter, and even a little brown sugar to fight the dry. Good.

Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours hazy, dirty gold with a 4 finger foamy white head. Aromas of fruit and yeast/spice. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Spice is strong - like ginger. Or pepper. Aroma becomes incense like. It tends toward dry and bitter. But the spice is the strongest aspect. Goes astringent in the finish. Really flavorful.
