75 cl. Hazy golden with a medium head, minimal lacings. Aroma is clearly citrusy sour with grassy, woody notes, slight orangeish note as well as some spices. Taste is a nice mix of sour and sweet notes, sourish green apples from the gueuze, more overiped fruit and bitterness from the tripel. Easy to define the different styles but somehow not a beer on its very own, still drinkable and well made. Taste is surprisingly full after the smell. Watery sweet and sour combine into something quite original, if not terribly well balanced. Both sides are well defined; both loose something: the gueuze its elegance and delicacy, the triple its bitter sweet fullness. The result is pleasing in that it accentuates familiar flavours in new ways, but misses synergy. Respect for the effort!
