Tap at BeerGeek. This does indeed have lots of white wine character, but also lots of funk. Cleanish though, hay, straw, a bit of barnyard, lots of flowers rather. Background wood. Med-high sourness, but nicely rounded, soft feeling. Med-light bitterness, light tartness and sweetness. Very easy drinking. Excellent overall.

Tap at Azyl from a Gambrinus glass as all others are gone due to the fest ahhahaha. It does focus the lovely aroma fine. Blueberries, acetic notes, some maltiness. Lean, dry taste - huge blueberries, oak, light tannins, wood, lightly acetic, some lactic notes, not too dried out... Light bitterness in the finish too. Not moreish, the body ends up a bit limp, but fun!

Bottle shared at Lya. Pours deep golden with white head. Nose and taste are nicely balanced and well mixed bitter and sweet notes, the latter being more dominant, bot far from overwhelming. There’s a light acidic and fruity touch to it, and the spicy, even smoky character of the barrels also come through, rounding the sip off nicely. Layered and highly enjoyable beer.

Bottle from Lya. Pours pale, opaque orange with thin white head. Nose is moderately tart, there's a hint of funk and a huge peach kick. Taste is low sourness again, not even close to the modern iterations of the style style, but I dont mind this at all. There's a light malty touch to it, and some funk's going on in there as well and the characteristics of the fruit is beautifully integrated into this all. Tart fruity finish, light body, soft to average carbonation. Loved it.

Taster at KEG. Opaque golden pour, white head. Nose is malty, grassy, slightly funky with floral notes. Taste is surprisingly sweet (well, for a saison) upfront, malty and bready with a rather full mouthfeel. Then it all of a sudden turns bitter, and closes on this note, leaving a harsh dry finish. Still not bad, but rather messy all in all.

Bottled 375ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren, thanks! Cloudy golden coloured, small white head, spicy and peppery nose. Fruity, yeasty, spicy, notes of peach and mild vanilla with some aggressive notes in the finish. One bottle, three glasses and three different tastes. Interesting.

Hints of ripe pear, dough, and floral. Hints of glue. Light body, dry, tart, slick, soft carbonation. Flavour is fruity, estery, pear, rose petals, light cheese and spice. Finish is light, spicy and lasting.

0.375l bottle from... maybe Base Camp, shared with Hrabren and Ogi. Misty pale yellow body. Big, pleasant aroma, big wood, vanilla, bit tart, lightly bretty, wild, some spice, wine. The herbal-citric hop is much more in evidence in Ogi's glass, but mine's more complex, both equally good. Oh well. Soft, light, pleasant taste, sweetish citric-fruity taste, lean, lightly softly yeasty, vague. Actually, I by getting the yeast shot, I won. Oh man... Hrabren's middle glass is sharper, more hoppy, which might be slightly confused with phenols. Ogi's is 3.5/3,6-ish, Hrabren's 3.7-ish, mine 3.8-ish. Same bottle. Wow.
