Keg at Six Deg North. It pours cloudy deep red - brown with a medium beige head. The nose is earthy, toasty, banana bread, toasty sugars, candy, caramel and red fruit. The taste is quite sweet, sticky, sweet banana bread, red berry, old toasted malt, clove rock, candy, caramel and fruit tea with a sweet finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. All a bit to sweet and sickly... Meh.

[ As Eden Shipwreck IPA ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, pale malt, citrus - tropicalfruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141009]

A can from the Queens Arms. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - caramel, grain, a touch of orange. Taste - more caramel, very sweet in fact. There is orange there too, but it’s not very refreshing. Palate - medium bodied with a rich, creamy texture and a cloying finish. Overall - not refreshing. Should be, for this style.

Bottle from the Salutation Hotel, Perth. Appearance - hazy red with a decent head. Nose - biscuit with red fruit and a touch of banana lurking. Taste - strawberry jam, cream and biscuits. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - decent .

Bottle from the brewery. Hazy amber/brown body with a thin off-white head. No lacing. Mild aroma of red apple and lightly roasted malt. Flavour of caramel and berries. Thin body with a light, watery texture. Soft fizz. Quite bland.
