Woodshed 3.0, Hot Box? Hot Damn! Sample courtesy of Sparky. 750mL pours with a mahogany colored body that supports a dirty tan head of foam. The aroma offers up big and bruising chili pepper heavy salsa, mild molasses notes, malt sweetened dark roasted malts and a light smokiness. The flavor delivers a good dose of smoke and then a thin ring of molasses. Very quickly though big chili pepper meat bubbles up along with a slowly growing peppery burn. This has a thin body and a mild malty backbone that allows the solid pepper to shine but not to the point of going over the top.

Tap at the 331. Lavender aroma and flavor, which ordinarily is an aroma I love. But in this beer, it is overwhelming and reminds me of soap. Dry and herbal, lavender finish.

Can: Poured a dark deep brown color ale with a medium size off-white head with limited retention and not much lacing. Aroma of dry raisin and brown sugar with a healthy dose of caramelized sugar is very interesting. Taste is also dominated by a healthy dose of caramelized malt with some dry raisins notes and some light residual brown sugar notes. Body is bit light to sustain all the spices and dry fruits notes with medium carbonation. Interesting beer but seems to be lacking a little bit malt profile.

12 oz can purchased as a part of a mix a six at France 44 Wine & Spirits in Edina, Minnesota. Canned 04/22 printed on the bottom of the can. The pour is a clear golden copper ruby with a one inch light tan rocky head. The aroma is resin pineapple, grain, and a caramel sweetness. The taste is resin, pineapple citrus, husky fruit grain and dry floral hop. The malt character is darker toast. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and resin, slight bitter, finish. Solid IPA.

12oz can poured into a shaker. Pours a slightly hazy dark gold with minimal head. Aroma of wheat and some light citrus. Taste follows aroma. Not too shabby.

Tap at Indeed, I was surprised I have not had this. Brown color. Lacing head. Lots of pine and resin in the aroma as well as some flowers, even a little perfume. Very dry and bitter. Herbal.

Thanks to Mathieu87! 355 ml. can sampled. Clear dark amber with a tanned head. Huge resinous nose, lots and lots of pine, quite sticky brown sugar, caramel and tree sap feel. Thick resinous pine explosion in the taste, huge bitter grapefruit peel, caramel, rock candy, very easy to drink. Airy body. Excellent IPA, being very fresh obviously played a big part in my enjoyment.

12 oz. can, thanks to TheHOFF43. Pours orange, with a small head. The aroma is rye, floral hops, straw, resin, and light cardamon. Sweet, with a mild hop bitterness, and savory spice. Leaves a pretty unpleasant, bitter aftertaste. Light to medium body, acidic, and very astringent. Overall, this is a nice, aromatic pale ale, but the flavor, especially the aftertaste, is lacking.
