Hazy reddish-brown. The aroma has some gluey/phenolic stuff, pear/cherry esters and light alcohol. Fizzyness cuts some of the sweetness, which is caramelly in nature. The brew is quite estery. Ok, but a bit strong on the alcohol taste to be really drinkable, and too fizzy to be a dessert beer.

Amber, slight haze. Thin head. The aroma is dark, leafy, with rich grapefruit and light berries. Rich, minty hops. Sweet grapefruit. Lots of bitterness. Chewy malts, but still in balance. Really nice beer.

Orangey-amber. The aroma is orangey with a little alcohol and some plastic notes. Light orangey taste, with some mellow fruits. Ok - not as complex as I’d like and a bit strong.

@ Vine Street. Relatively floral aroma with some alcohol, orchard fruits....complex if nothing else. Spicy, complex, herbal and floral hops, lots of malt. Sweet but not cloying. Pretty good brew - and I don’t usually trust these Belgian IPA concoctio

Tap at Vine Street - damn, this beer is crazy dry - lots and dry, crackery malt character and strong flinty dryness leaves plenty of room for the strong hop flavor and bitterness to shine in this beer - moderate peppery phenols from the yeast compliments the dry malts and strong hops very well - peppery finish, mostly from hops, but also from the yeast - crisp, dry finish - damn tasty.

Tap at Vine St. a a dark saison brewed with white chocolate and peppercorns - sure, why not - this one pulls off that rare too sweet and too spicy character - the white chocolate adds a fairly strong sweetness that is amplified by the darker malts - the peppercorns are rather strong, and this character is also compounded by some fairly strong peppery phenols, leading to a very strong spiciness that is quite overpowering at times - I like what they were trying to do, but it is a bit too over the top and lacking balance.

Tap @ Vine Street during Belgian month. Reddish brown appearance with a foamy, light brown head that dissipates pretty quickly. Dark candy sugar, caramel, dark chocolate, pepper, light banana/clove, sweet caramelized malty aroma. Pretty sweet yet not exactly cloying, dark candy sugar, caramel/toffee malty, slightly floral hoppy flavor. A touch syrupy. Not bad but nothing too excellent either.

Tap @ Vine Street during Belgian month. Cloudy golden orange appearance with a white head. Mild pepper, belgian yeast, moderate citrus, light barnyard aroma. Lemon citrusy, peppery, lightly tart, belgian yeasty, barnyard, slightly spicy flavor with a moderately bitter, floral finish. Pretty tasty saison.

Tap at Vine Street - hazy plum color - nose of mild oxidation and dusty, earthy character, light esters, peppery phenols - fairly overpowering peppery/spicy phenols in the flavor make it a bit abrasive - fairly dry, with some general earthy funk to it that adds a nice depth - dry, unsweetened stone fruits - dusty basement, oxidation - very spicy finish - some nice attributes, but those phenols need to be dialed back.

Tap at Vine Street - turbid golden with a slight reddish tint - nose of light fruitiness and earthy wheat - flavor of tart, almost sour, unsweetened berry up front, followed by soft wheatiness and a bit of bready wheat - light sourness in the finish, even a little saltiness - simple, but with surprising character for something of this nature.
