Dark red-brown, med head. Caramel and maple aromas and flavors, with the fake caramel winning out in the flavor. Light and boring palate. Nothing going on here.

Bottle. Sweet dusty aroma. Dark brown colour, small amount of gunk. Small light brown head. Sweet flavour with a nice creaminess. Unfortunately sour aftertaste.

Like other Tommyknocker beers, this one pretty much sucks. There is a strange cocoa and pepper flavor that doesnβt work at all when combined with the honey sweetness. It is a light brown and has a moderate head. At least they are trying something different.

Poured a medium murky brown with a quick setting off white head. Malty aroma, slightly floral as well. Very complex flavor, carmel and coffee notes but also brown sugar and nuts. Slightly malty as well. Extremely complex flavor which makes this a refreshing addition to the otherwise pedestrian Tommy Knocker line.

Poured a deep dark brown with a medium white lacing head from the bottle. Sugary aroma, slight malt, and spicy, like bourbon or whiskey. Strange flavor, super sugary like poorly mixed KoolAid. Maple flavor is almost non-existent. Watery on the palate. Not very pleasing at all.

Poured a murky, yellowish gold with little white head. Spciy, slightly malty aroma with a twinge of hops. Flavor is spicy, wheaty and a little off. Funny flavor finish, funny mouth feel. Not very appetizing.

Poured a watery, opaque brown with no white head. Sweet, slightly malty aroma. Very sweet flavor, brown sugar and dark malt. Mild roasted malt flavor, only slightly nutty. Medium bodied in the mouth. Average at best.

Poured a opaque orangey amber from the bottle with a small amount of white head. Mild citrus and hop aroma with just a hint of malt. Initial flavor is sugary and malty and the bitterness of the hops come in at the very end on the tongue. Heavy mouth feel and slightly oily on the tongue. Again, a refreshing beer from Tommyknocker.

Poured a murky light orange from the bottle with very little white head. Smells of malt and wheat with very little hop to speak of. Slightly citrus, slightly malty flavor, but forgettable taste. Refreshing beer though, better than I expected but simple and light flavor.

Bottle, packaged Aug. 06. Donβt know about anyone else, but I find the smell upon pouring nicely compelling. Stoutish, chocolate-y and coffee-y with hints of maple underneath. Dark brown under a fizzy, short-lived head. First taste impression, though, is that it may have been carbonated too highly. But then those lovely aromas make way for a rather basic brew accented by a not overwhelming maple syrup spin. Maybe if I were having much more, it might turn me off, but this is a nice change for a session brew.
