Can @ Chicago Union Station bar. Light yellow colour, medium white head. Nose is light malted. Taste of sweet malts, bit metallic. Bland, not offensive.

can from The Green Frog in Ft Wayne - I was amused to see this beer on the menu and told the waitress as much. It’s like finding Schlitz at a dive bar. Anyway, it’s clear pale yellow, has a mild aroma of grainy malt, and tastes of corn and not much else. Yep, it’s go some sweet corn laden malt that’s pretty mild as everything about this beer is. It’s light bodied, thin, adjunct laden... yeah, don’t bother.

Courtesy GodofThunder. Pale gold. Light head. Corn and rice nose, watery but clean flavor, although just a touch of corny weirdness at the end. Overall: very light and shows adjuncts.

Draft at Argus, Madison. "Hipster" beer extraordinaire. Pale yellow orange, filtered. Thin but steady white head. Macro six-row aroma. Sweet, grainy, sugary, and metallic...but low enough in alcohol to remain mild and drinkable. Pretty bad, but not the worst by a long shot.

Not the best beer, but much better than BMC. Along with my great craft beers and homebrew, I always have some PBR in the kegerator for those hot summer days.

Refrigerated bottle. Usual pale lager taste. Usually very cheap. Sometimes makes me sick, even when drinking reasonable amounts.

16 oz can. Has that macro cheap-adjunct shit smell. Pours a thick head which dissipates in about a minute to a thin collar of foam. Nice lacing. Tastes of cereal grains. Starts semi-sweet, finishes slightly bitter. Body is thin, lots of carbonation. Better than Bud, but it’s just not very good. I’ll drink it if I’m in the mood to get mindlessly drunk up camping or around the table playing drinking games, but that’s about all it’s good for. I don’t understand why this beer is seeing a resurgance in popularity in the U.S. It’s brainless beer. It’s the Paris Hilton of beer. I don’t get it.

Draft at the OF. Hyper-filtered yellow-orange color. Patchy non-head with lots of CO2 bubbles underneath. Grainy and rough body. Finishes sugar water thin. Unoffensive at best, insipidly disgusting at worst. Slightly dry 6-row aftertaste.

Can: Lighter than the original? Maybe... I never thought PBR was that terrible when compared to the typical tailgater’s choice, but why not make it less flavorful and thus easier for ole’ JimBob to chug?
