Bottle. Very light yellow with a brief white head. Light and sweet aroma with some corn and some bread. The taste was very bad and boring. Corn, bread and something chemical. Almost no aftertaste. An awful beer that went to the sink.

Originally rated November 2004. As you can see in most reviews, Pabst Blue Ribbon is one of most drinkers favorite cheap beers. Poured a pale golden-yellow colour with a descent foamy head and actually left some lacing. Aromas were hoppy, and taste is there too. Not big, but it is there. Carbonation is not much visible. A crisp beer with a smooth aftertaste. Very drinkable. Recommended for bands (for the jams).

Taste hides the chemicals well but the sour aftertastes builds after a few sips. The utter despair a swill like this induces in me concerning the past, present and future of beer is as unfathomable as the endless pitchers I drank of this. Tastes like if you boiled down a normally shitty lager, painted the leftover past on a gritty brick wall in an alley then licked at it after a hot day of sun. Hell.

40oz bottle...drank from the bottle. Looks to be a clear pale yellow. Aroma of corn, skunk and boiled greens. Taste is the same. Light bodied with a thin texture. Fizzy carbonation and no finish. Overall, it’s crap. But what do you expect for about a buck per 40oz?

One pint can, 16 fl oz, at Grand Central in Miami, on January 22, 2012At the PBR moment from the 70k forum family meeting.Clear pale yellow color, white head. Sweet scent. Sweet, malty taste. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.Rather OK I think, could drink it again for sure. A lot better than many other pale lagers out there.

From a 355ml bottle on 25/12/2011. Pours a clear pale yellow with a small head. Has a slightly unpleasant aroma of grain and urine. Little flavour is evident other than a stale sweetness and the barest hint if bitterness. A hideous lager.

12oz can poured into a shaker. Pours a clear pale yellow with about a finger of bright white head. Aroma of corn, metal and skunk. Taste is about the same. Lightly bitter. Medium bodied with a somewhat thin yet creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a slightly bitter finish. Overall, not that bad really. Still better than any Light beer out there.
