Cask at The Nags Head (Covent Garden). Aroma is floral, with some malt. Dark golden amber color with significant white head. Starts floral, moves to light malt, finishes medium bitter. Something of a malt/hop balance in the finish. Distinctive.

Cask @ Coopers Arms, Hitchin. Amber color with a small head. The aroma is malty with some light hopping and fruit / hay. A round fruity flavour with a nice dry and bitter end.

Half pint on cask, well kept and served at a right temperature. Golden coloured beer with good clarity Very poor in aroma, only some notes of malt comes through. A cautious taste has got a touch of caramelled softness and a bitter ending. Moderate mouthfeel (The Farriers Arms in St Albans, 28.09.2006).

Half pint on cask. Amber coloured. Low level of white foam. Malty foundation in both aroma and flavour. Dark fruits are also present in a rather weak taste. Bitter finish, but not much for an IPA (Found in good condition at the Farriers Arms, St Albans 28.09.2006).

Half pint on handpulled cask at The Farriers Arms in St Albans. Amber coloured body with brilliant clarity and a small creamy head. Moderate malty aroma. Ripe fruit and hints of raisin in flavour. Dry and short bitter ending (28.09.2006).
