In bottle Fin picked up direct from Lovibonds, Henley, Loz, Ang’ and Julio’ shared at Moncada brewery in company, Friday 6th February 2015 Aroma is a little whisky and also vanilla and yet a dab of perfume also detected. Some initial warmth, lots of chocolate, it’s got a lovely fruity but also soft toasty edge, lots of wonderful cocoa. A superb beer, perhaps just a little hot at the moment, and few months down the line this is going to improve further. Pours black but not as black as the very dense looking Hopping Frog BA Doris. I must get back to Lovibonds and stock up on a couple more, easily the best so far of this Dark Reserve series IMHO. Well done Jeff! A8 A4 T8 P5 Ov17 4.2
