27/8/2020. Bottle from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Pours clear golden with a modest foamy white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, sweet malt, flowers, touch of pine. Medium sweetness and very light bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Subtle, tasty, grower, but not so loud.

Bottle bought at A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Herby/grassy aroma with a touch of sweetness. Light gold. Thick foamy head. Medium bitter. Some quinine at first before a citrus streak sweeps through. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. Old school APA. Nice enough.

Bottle ordered from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Bitter edged aroma of citrus, bery and spice, i.e. marmalade. Amber. Creamy translucent white head. Medium bitter. A slight tang. Malty base. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. I note that it's yet another bitter now rebranded as Pale Ale - would have thought they'd have gone with Amber Ale but then their gold is a Wheat Beer. Decent enough. Peppy.

Bottle ordered from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Malty aroma with a slightly sour edge. Pale gold. A few whispy white strands for a head. Light bitter. Malty. Sour edge. Light bodied. Thin but slick. Fizzy carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. It's fine. Average pils. But not something I'd be bothered about having again.
