Bottle. Clear gold with a large white head - topping up the glass after a while makes it a little cloudy. Aroma of citrus (lime leaf, mandarin, grapefruit), funky cracker dough, spices. A bit wit-like - particularly the fact that some of the citrus is clearly fruit - but nice funk too. The topped up glass has a softer texture but the citrus and spices are still perhaps not as well integrated as they might be. Dry with modest bitterness at the end with the spices settling most convincingly there. A little disjointed but a nice finish.

On tap at Good Beer Week 2019 Launch Gala. Pours golden with healthy head. A lot of citrus in nose alongside straw and socks. Pretty classic saison. Nice and dry and citrussy.

From a 500ml bottle on 10/3/2019 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a slightly opaque golden with almost no head. Smells funky, bready and spicy. In the mouth, you get lots of bready malt, yeast, some lime, lemon and orange, and a good whack of clove and spice, Lightish body with soft carbonation. I'm not really a fan of saisons, so keep this in mind when it comes to the rating. But this does nothing for me.

750ml, 23 months after bottling date (27 March 2017>. Almost orange, with finely beaded thin head. Rotting plums on nose. Crisp, restrained sourness. Feeling very settled and balanced after all time in bottles. I'm loving this.

As Citrus XPA. Bottle. Big grapefruit, resin and light catpiss nose. lemony hops, light malt, honey, leafy, herbal. It comes off a bit harsh, but I guess that is the plan. Cloudy bright golden color with a high, airy head. Bright, malty, honey, lemon, orange, mineral, grass, resins. Herbal citrus and light dry tropical fruits. Very dry overall. Low bitterness, rather spritzy, High drinkability, though hops are just a bit too pissy and resiny.

'Can. Pinkish amber with a white head. Aroma of wheaty funk, sweet raspberries. The fruit occludes the complexities of normal Hop Tart, but they come through on the palate - it''s sweet, tart, lusciously fruity then dry and slightly woody and bitter. Refreshing.'

330ml bottle into shaker. Sour nose with salt and pepper. Hazy amber beer with high fine carbonation. White frothy crown. Light and fruity, refreshing. Easy-drinking, not as sour or yeasty as other Berliner Weisses but with a higher ABV. Nice and slammable.
