33 cL bottle (labelled as Old Pale Ale). Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Slight mouldy and spiced nose. Minor acidity with a strange spiced flavour. Malty and slight sugarish without any dominant sweetness. Strange spiced and ashtray like flavour - not my style in any way.

Cloudy light amber color. In the beginning I thought I was going to drink a normal Ale, with some caramel aroma and flavor, but after a few seconds something disappointing is hitting my sense: the mouthfeel becomes suddenly dry and metallic, with an unpleasant dry touch of roasted barley, and the final is spoiled too. Maybe a wrong bottle.

Bottle at Chris_O bottlefest 2007. Hazy gold with thick white head. Bit sticky toffee. It’s pretty bad though.

Dull beige colour does nothing to entice. Aroma is strong, though, estery - lemon and pomegranite. Fairly light flavour and low bitterness. Lemony, sugary and a touch spritzy in the finish. Has potential, but they need MORE HOPS! It’s a like a soup made with water instead of stock.

Bottled. Opening this bottle was a mess. It sprayed itself all over my room and my computer, leaving less than half the beer in the bottle. What was left poured hazily nut browned and very lively. It was roasty and nutty with some Belgian style almondy yeast characetr. It was well balanced with medium sweetenss and medium bitterness. Besides the fiasco upon opening the beer, it was a quite enjoyable experience.

Draught at AIBA, Melbourne. Hazy golden. Lightly grassy nose. Dryish and crisp with an interesting combination of deep papery malt and hard aromatic crystal malt. The hops with aren’t very noticable in the aroma sparks a pleasantly bitter finish. A good thrirst quencher!

Bottled. Nut brown. Tart berry aroma. Sweet and sweaty with nearly full body. There’s some caramel, some almonds as well as some warming alcohol. Salty finish. Flavourful, but a bit unrefined.

Bottled. Cloudy dark yellow with stable head. Odd aroma of licorice, oranges and oregano. Sweet and mild, with notes of vanilla. Pizza-like oregano finish.
