330ml bottle - pours an almost clear pale straw gold colour with a tiny white head that quickly disappeared completely. A fruity aroma with some passionfruit, lemony citrus and melon. A light tart taste, passionfruit and lemon flavours with some sweet tropical notes and a citusy sournesess in the finish.

Tap at the Roundhouse. Aroma of grape juice and something else fruity. Taste is bit fruity and bit sour. Kiwi maybe. Bit lacking in excitement.

Can. ESB or ESA?. Clear reddish amber with a pale beige head that lasts really well. Aroma of bread crust, dusty hops, grilled peach, mild spices - doesn't really hint at its strength. Rich w dried, stewed and singed fruit - damsons!, caught raisins - before stern, gripping and very English floral bitterness takes hold. Doesn't really do enough to justify its strength except at the very decisive end.

Can. Black with a light tan head. Peppery oak is quite prominent over roast, mocha, dark berries, bread, licorice. Very smooth textured with low carbonation. Dryish with bread, mocha, berries, licorice, spiced bitterness, oak. After a while the drying woody finish seems a bit tannic. Just kept revealing more. Fine stuff.

(Bottle) Pours clear golden with tiniest white head. Aroma is citrus and damp cardboard. Nice palate; light body with fine soft carbonation. Lovely tart taste, but not puckeringly sour, in fact the sourness has some complexity to it - lemon and natural yogurt. There’s some bready notes, and hints of damp cardboard and no bitterness. Refreshing, unusual, very drinkable.

330ml bottle shared with and courtesy of Deanso. Poured a hazy medium amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is stale dank hops, light resin, tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, malt, fruity, light dry woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
