This rauchbier poured a deep dark amber colour with a creamy, tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include peat, smoke, white glue and medicinal gauze. First swig was smooth and creamy with flavours of peat, molasses and smoke. Finish is smokey with a sweet malty flavour that lingers.

His Black poured a deep dark amber colour with a creamy, light tan head. Nice lacing. Scents include smoke, light black cherries, dark toast and caramel. First swig was roasty and smokey with slightly sweet malt flavours along with a little licorice and a minuscule taste of burnt plastic? 650mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out peated smoke upfront, with bready malt and a hint of caramel. Flavour is sweet, malty and smoky in equal amounts, with bready malt, caramel, and moderate peated smoke. Peated and caramely. Pleasant stuff.

A dark stout with a very thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light coffee, vanilla, pleasant. In mouth, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light coffee notes, light acidity, again, that awful chlorine taste, could have been interested. On tap at brewery.
