There's currently 10 people on the International Space Station spending summer in space, so they won't be able to enjoy this hazy golden seasonal. It's a crisp tasting pine brew, not overly stated, but evident in both aroma and taste with a slight soapiness about the latter.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Orange amber colour, some bubbles on top and aroma of wood barrel, vanilla, funk, fruity, fudge. Taste is sweetish, malt, caramel, candy, vanilla, fudge, funky, with harsh booze and some bitterness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying boozy bitter finish. Very boozy, quite drinkable.

Tap at Sommar, Waterloo Street, Birmingham. Pours dark brown with a nice lasting beige to tanned head. Notes of wood, blackcurrant, light menthol, dark malts, fairly bitter finish. Mid bodied with a lowish carbonation.

Tap at Sommar, Waterloo St. Hazy gold with small white top. This one was grapefruit and citrus rind noted with a slightly resinous potpourri. Smooth, mid-bodied and a prickly finish. Bittersweet. Not a stand out but good.

Tap at Sommar, Waterloo St, Brum. Bright hazed orange with brief white bubbled top. Juicy fresh, slight green tinted mango. Taste is mostly juicy mango with a decent spiky floral hop. Medium bodied. Works well. When I first got into craft beer, flavoured IPAs had that wow factor but less so for me now.

Tap at Sommar, Waterloo Street, Brum. Hazy caramel gold with small white top. There are notes of citrus, passionfruit and a herbal light spiky finish. Bittersweet. There is something slightly muddled as the flavour notes are nice but nothing particularly stands out. Its decent though.

Tap at Sommar, Waterloo Street, Brum. I do like a modern hoppy table strength beer and this is another good example. Pours a hazy gold with small swirly white top. A refreshing topical, citrus and mineral character with a semi drying moderate bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Tap at Sommar, Waterloo Street, Brum. Pours a hazy dark pink with some wispy white covering. A nice refreshing pippy raspberry flavour with light touches of cereal and biscuit. Nice mid bodied mouthfeel. Tart rather than full blown sour. Tasty stuff though.

Tat at Sommar, Waterloo St, Birmingham. Light clouded gold with nice smooth white head, great lacing. Juicy notes of passionfruit, citrus and apricot, with a moreish malt background and leafy bitterness to balance. Light dryness, mid bodied. Very good.
