Gravity cask at the Wandsworth Common London Beer Festival July 2013 - Le Gothique. Pours mostly clear amber with a frothy, white cream head. Ripe citrus in the nose, some hearty bread. Light sweet flavor with pine, orange, toast. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Great condition. Ripe oranges in the finish, toasted bread, faint earth and pine. Great stuff. One of the top beers of the festival for me.

Bottle from AlesByMail.co.uk. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich malt, grain, hops, little flowers and fruits. Bitter finish.

Keg at the tap room. Dark black caramel colour. Vanilla wet socks roast Choc. Fulliah body. Choc. Some acidic. Really good.

Keg at the tap room. Dark caramel, snap light tan head., aroma is light chalk choc. Some berry. A little thin. Some more roast in the flavour.

Bottle at the tap room. Cloudy, yellow persistent white head. Light floral nose, sweet grain. Flavour is Grainy grassy hop. Slight dirty bitter finish.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Deep reddish amber with a cream head; floral aroma; soft floral malt taste with some herbal hops giving a fresh bitterness. Pleasant, but rather ordinary.
