Bottle from Oddbins, Blackheath. Amber pour no head. Low on the old carbonation front. Citrus, baked apple and fresh herb aroma. Bitter citrus flavour. Quite bitter. Not too bad.

Cask at the Hare and Billet, Blackheath. Burnt orange pour with a beige head. Very fruity nose, lots of citrus and pine. Crisps citrus taste and a rather nice bitter zing. Bitter-fruit finish. Good.

500ml bottle from Oddbins, Blackheath, SE London - Hazy dark amber/reddish in colour with a thin non persisting white/off white head. Has a pleasing caramel malt and nutty/fruity character with good balance, easy drinking, and good all round bitter this.

Cloudy dark amber beer. Thin cream coloured head. Smooth palate, low carbonation. Sweetish hops. Floral notes with slightly tangy-sour tropical fruits. Dried apricot in the neutral finish. Could have been a nice beer but it’s pretty flat. Purchased another which has a good palate but the flavour was sour.

Hazy amber beer. Good pale cream coloured head. Palate is soft and somewhat over dry. Mild creamy malt. A little bitter orange fruit and a touch of aniseed. Very dry finish. Good flavour but too dry.

Hazy deep amber beer, little white head. Light palate - crisp and dry. Well balanced. Creamy malt base with a whisper of toffee. Good hops - pine with mild tropical fruits. Minerals. Decent flavours slightly marred by an over dry palate. Okay but too dry.

Bottle from oddbins, Blackheath, SE London - A hazy/fuzzy amber pour with a medium white head. Overall very gritty, earthy bitter hop notes with sweet malt base. I didn’t really like this much and certainly concur with some of the other reviews below. Kind of average to ok for me overall.

guest keg@Hare and Billet, Blackheath, SE London - Gold/orange pour with a medium white frothy head. Citrus notes with orange/lemon most noticeable plus pine needles and a caramel malt base. Overall was rather cold straight from keg, but soon got better as it warmed up. Pretty good stuff this.

cask@The Hare and Billet, Blackheath, SE London - A amber/orange pour with a medium frothy white head. Citrus notes with orange, grapefruit and pine and caramel malt combine for a warming boozy bitter finish. Really liked this (d15)

330ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Marmelade, spice, yeast and a hint of lemon in the aroma. Spicy, fruity and yeasty taste with grain, lemon, orange and coriander detected. The finish is fruity and spicy. Very refreshing.
