Notification January 2022: It is with regret that we have taken a difficult decision and propose to close London Fields Brewery with a view to selling the business and finding new owners. We will close our taproom and e-commerce platforms and pause onsite brewing immediately. Hackney Hopster and Broadway Boss will continue to be supplied.

On draft at the brewery tap room, London. Pours clearish amber-gold with a fine, white cream head. Light dusty pine aroma, some mellow, toasty malts. Light to medium sweet flavor with piney bitterness, orange and grapefruit. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Moderately sweet finish with toasty pine, some nice, dry grapefruit, semi-ripe orange. Very nice amber ale.

Bottle @ Chriso. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a longlasting white head. Has a fruity malty grassy hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grassy hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy grassy finish.

Pigs Ear. Clear amber beer, suddy off white head. Light semi dry palate. Mild fine carbonation. Fresh malt with a whisper of lactose. Good balancing hops. More fruit than bitterness. Pine and sweet tangerine and generic fruits. Just mild bitterness in the semi dry finish. Easy drinking.

Pigs Ear. New version. Almost clear gold beer, little white head. Light palate, dry with mild carbonation. Very floral hops - white flowers, a little elderflower. Nice sweetish tangerine citrus underneath. Dry finish. Unusual and tasty.

Pigs Ear. Opaque black brown beer, little tan suddy head. Palate is semi dry. Sweet and tangy dark malts, no roast or bitterness. Dark fruits, well buried. Trace of lactose and dark chocolate. Semi dry finish. Unusual sweet and sour vibe. All right.

On tap at the brewery tap room, London. Pours clear, golden brown with a creamy, white head. Dry orange aroma with leaves and grains. Medium sweet flavor with whole grain bread, mild herbal bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Grainy, rich bread finish, modest sweetness, earthy and dry grassy bitterness, dry pine. Some whole grain bread, rye bread. Dominant whole grain bread character. Very good beer all around.
