Bottle best by 11/11/16 into a pilsner. A: Poured clear gold with a short rapidly falling head and big bubbles. Patchy lace. S: Dry grassy scent with winy green apple notes and maybe balsa wood. T: Dry apple very quickly overtaken by bitter hops of a not quite fruity, not quite piney nature. Herbal or grassy I suppose. No resin. Fresh clean taste. M: Prickly light body with a clean dry finish. Begs another sip. This is what I love most about kolsch. O: Very good, in fact a new favorite of the style. The taste and feel of this are excellent IMO. Not cheap but an easy recommendation.
