Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear amber, small head. Caramelly nose. Sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel and solid body. Salty caramel meets molasses. Fairly low bitterness. Feels rather lifeless.

Tap at Pony Bar. Pours a cloudy chestnut brown with a thin, white head. Light roasted malt aroma with plenty of caramel notes. Flavor is very malty, rich, with loads of toffee and light chocolate. Also some mild, ripe fruits. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finish is sweet but a bit thin with faint toffee notes.

Tin. Very ugly beer to my notion. Looks more like fruit juice. Full aroma caramel, raisins, lime and spice. Flavour is caramel and raisins with an herbey note. Spice finish.

8th May 2010. Nightcap in the hotel after the Copenhagen Beer Festival. Cloudy amber beer. Lively frothy head. Pretty uninteresting malty beer with just a hint of lime citrus.

Canned. The lid self-opened when packing my bags, spilling a large parts of the contents into my clothes. Upon pouring the remainder it came out cloudy and highly overcarbonated. A spicy apple aroma started spreading, lime joins later. Very fruity with sold body and clean rounded mouthfeel. Lime gets very evident as it goes, and alcohol warms my throat.

On tap at The Monk’s Kettle in San Francisco. Cloudy light gold beer with a good sticky head and nice lacing. It smelled very fruity with some citric notes and good malt. There isn’t quite enough going on for a higher score, but the flavor was still good. The unidentified flavor that I noted while drinking turns out to be poppy seeds, which makes an odd sense. The poppy seed flavor is fairly light and balances well with the other flavors. Some other sweet fruit notes also come through in the flavor. Light body, a touch watery. Alcohol is not quite hidden perfectly. It’s a good beer but not great.

Cloudy brown color. Lots of bacon and earthy in the nose . Mouth is unbalanced with baconpotatoe chips, sour not pleasant. Not that good and after tastes suck lingering vinegar bacon finish. Fuck that.

Tap at West Coast Brew Fest 2010. This is wild. Pours reddish with a huge foamy beige head. Aromas of celery? and maple syrup. Medium body; mild carbonation. Flavor is maple malt. Veg aspects. Way different. The veg stayed with my mug. Hard to leave it behind. Different but good beer.
