Big beige head. Clear deep dark red body. Fruity earthy odd aroma. Sweet fruity wild berry taste with smoky roasty notes. Full-bodied. Mild, soft, slightly flat mouthfeel. Sweetish fruity herbal wild berry aftertaste with perfumy candy notes. It’s really odd, but also quite nice. (0.564l can, from Kihoskh, Copenhagen.)

50cl can. I am a vegetarian, but also a ticker... ;-) clear brown, smooth light brown head. aroma is malts, faint mild hops and perhaps a slightly salty note. flavor is malts, almost no hops, ends also malty, very typical brown ale flavor i’d say. The only thing slightly indicating bacon added is a glue like palate, like the fat on meat. I can usually detect meat in quite small doses, only the palate gives the beer away. schlenkerla tastes lots more like meat than this one, and schelnkerla is even vegetarian.
