Bottled, collected @ brewery. Hazy to cloudy golden orange color, medium creamy off-white head. Aroma of oranges, spicy, some caramel malt. Bit cookie and toffee, some grainy wheat like character to it, like a four-grain-cookie. Soft bitter taste, fairly dry, hint of sweetness. Can imagine it was not the way they intended, but doesn’t turn out that bad actually.

Dark brown colour, small but firm off-white head. Lightly tart aroma, liquorice (drop), coffee, roasted malts and dried fruits. Flavour quite sweet, malty, with just a hint of sourness and brett. Light carbonation. Finish coffee and chocolate. Nice and enjoyable.

Smell malts, sweetness, ash, dust and earth. Taste lightly sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sour with a slight bitterness. Soft, almost flat carbonation and a low body.

Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam, 03.03.12 consumed at home 04.03.12 Pours black with a light beige head. A strange sort of aroma, sort of one part millpond with one part chocolate, fortunately the millpond does not show in the mouth and it is chocolate all the way, nice bitter cocoa, fruity with some dusty hops, good stuff.
