Clear dark red brown color, medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts, chocolate, some english hops. Taste is malty, some hazelnut, with a typical english hopbitterness. Bit sticky and creamy palate.

Cloudy golden color, short white head. Weak aroma of wheat, some yeast, banana. Taste is slightly sweet, some wheat. The beer is supposed to be a german hefeweizen (not a belgian white), but it just lacks body. I was actually a bit disappointed by this brew, because the standard of De Schans is quite high.

Light clear amber color, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma of amber malts, some hops. Taste is very bitter, some amber and roasted malt, not sweet, bit like an IPA. Quite nicely balanced. Very bitter palate.

A hazy light orange beer with a small white disappearing head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by wheat. The flavor is also dominated by wheat but also with notes of sourness, citrus, and banana. The body is thin.

An unclear brown beer with a fine orange collapsing head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of spices; coriander and cinnamon. The flavor is just like the aroma combined with some sourness.

CLoudy brown color, medium brown head. Aroma of rye (rogge), bread and roasted malts. Taste is sweet roasted malty, some licorice, also a fresh fruity note. Bready palate.

Hazy orange with greenish shine; big fluffy head, quite stable and lacey. Perfumey nose, bit of vanilla and/or lemonbalm; faint spicey hops. Harsh bitter-spicey taste superposed on caramel-sweet. honeyish background - and coriander, I presume. Seems well-bodied, but I think the spices beef it up. Spicey & burnt chicory keeps hanging around in the aftertaste. At the end, a little agreable sourness builds up. If you could call any very spiced ale "Saison", it would be a saison indeed. Which isn't saying this wouldn't be worth trying.

An orange beer with a beutiful head. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast. The flavor is of corriander which gives way to caraway seeds before it ends on a dry hoppyness.
