Description
Brewing in freedom. Young and locally oriented nano brewery. Brewing small batches we developed 20+ delicious beers over the last 4 years. At the end of 2015 we opened up our brewpub 'Café Rad van Wageningen' where we serve our locally produced beers plus some samples of other beers. For non beer drinkers we have a modest list of (good dutch) wines, stronger liquors and many other beverages. Don't forget the crafty pubmeals on friday or saturday. (Local Dutch brewer with description in English; because in the city of Wageningen we have lot's of foreign customers)

Bottle shared @ Camping Ratebeer. Hazy dark orange color, average sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste lightly malts, sweetness, a hint of bitter. Totally not a doppelbock imo. But it’s drinkable.

Draught @ Cafe Derat. Rated on 12.07.2014.
Aroma is weak with some soapy citrus and apricot. Flavour has resiny tones and apricot. Finishes with some odd and unpleasant milky tones. A bit messy and weird but decent anyway.

Tap @ derat, small sample. Hazy golden color, medium head. Aroma of spicy yeast, bit flowery and earthy hops, hint of diacetyl, cookie. Bit bitter in taste, bit sweet. If they said it was a belgian blond, i wouldnt have been surprised. Taste is ok, but its not uk style.

Tap @ Cafe Derat. Hazy orange colour, off-white head. Nose is caramel malts, bit of fruits, light sour, a bit spicy and yeasty. Flavour of caramel malts, subdued hoppiness, a bit sugary. Wouldn’t have guessed this to be a doppelbock.
