330ml bottle, 7% abv, carefully opened by the bartender at Café Ondineke. Soapy, white head. Hazy golden. Smell of ripe fruity hops. Fruity taste with candy sweetness and herbal dryness. Bittersweet ending. Dry hopped. Yeah, we saw the flower jump out of the virgin. Tasty (shared with Finn, Aalst 30.04.2011).

330ml bottle from the take away service at De Bierkamer. Dense, fawn coloured head. Hazy, brown body. Aroma of sweet malts with modest notes of tart fruits. Earthy malts, sweet candies and notes of yeast in flavour. Gets too sweet (shared with Finn, hotel room in Aalst 30.04.2011).

330ml bottle from Antwaerps Bierhuiske shared with Finn at the hotel room. Low, fragile white head. Unclear, gold-amber body. Fruity aroma, also bringing smell of pale malts. Orange and peaches in a fruity flavour added by honey sweetness and hints of yeast. Weak bitter ending. Not more than standard for the style (Antwerpen, 28.04.2011).

27/05/2011 33cl bottle @ home (2011-232)
Little cloudy reddish brown beer, light beige creamy head, stable and adhesive. Aroma: caramel and sweet malts, lots of banana, bananapeel also. MF: good carbon, full body. Taste: sweet malts, a bit of mocha, caramel and banana, some spices. Aftertaste: more banana, a bit sour, and still banana, but strangely enough it does not become annoying. Good balanced and complex beer. I'm gonna have this again!

26/05/2011 33cl bottle @ home - Bottled: FEB/2011 (2011-228)
Dark blond to amber cloudy beer, off-white head, unstable, falls down fast to a small layer. Lots of small light beige chunks floating around. Aroma: citrus fruits, sweet malts, ripe fruits, flowers, herbs, a bit piny even. Very complex and promising. MF: light carbon, full body, bit syrupy texture. Taste: sweet malts, some candi sugar, pretty fruity turning towards citrus fruits. Aftertaste: pretty bitter but not too dry, lots of citrus and some sugar. Alcohol is clearly present in the aftertaste. Weird with only 7% ABV (indicated on bottle).

Herb-muffig aber auch hefig im Antrunk. Im Mittelteil findet ein deutlicher Wandel statt, das Bier weist nun süße und karamelig-rauchige Noten auf, diese aber leider auf zu niedrigem Level. Nett, mal was Anderes.. 10/10/9/10//10

bottle, trade with KmJohansen. Best before may 2011, tasted apr 2011 cloudy orange, fluffy offwhite head. dusty stale hops, honey, yeasty, very very faint citric note in the aroma. Flavor is oxidized, hoppy note, yeast. Even though not past its best before date, this one has clearly aged too much.
