Description
Huisbrouwerij opgericht door Piet Meirhaeghe in 2002. Aanvankelijk werden de bieren gebrouwen bij De Proefbrouwerij te Lochristi. Na wat verbouwingen is er sinds 2009 is er een brouwzaal en proeflokaal.

Pours a golden colour with a white head. Sweet fruity aroma. Sweet malty flavor with some hints of yeast and citrus. Long bitter aftertaste.

Pours a dark brown colour with an off-white head. Roasted malty aroma. Sweet malty flavour with some roasted notes and hints of caramel and fruits. Warming dry finish.

Bottled (on Nov 30th, 2005) Clear, orange body. Off-white head. Aroma of hops, oranges, soap. Moderately bitter initial flavour. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter finish. Quite alcoholic flavour. Fully bodied. Due to the alcoholic flavour, I don’t like this.

Fully hazy yellow with real green shine; gushing to thick, yellowish head. Superb, great hopsnose, fresh-smelling. Rather sourish taste, with hops flavour but mainly combination of sourish (rhubarb) and pale malts. Little citric touch. Acidic fizzy MF, but not unpleasant. Disconcerting. Hoppy because of the hopcone, but beneath it, other things are going on, some of them are OK, some less - if that acidity strengthens with time...

Bottled. Hazy yellowish orange colour, small white foamy head. Alcohol, fruit and malt in aroma. Fruit, raisins, alcohol and breadish hints in flavour. Aftertaste is bitter/sour fruit. Pleasant. Dry and sticky palate.

Hazy orange, decent white head. Fruity, honeyish aroma. Medium-bodied. Slightly alcoholic, noneyish, hoppy finish. Drinkable tripel but maybe too sweet.

Bottled. Ruby colour. Roasty, fruity and orangey. Dry up front -sweeter finish. Fresh and intensely malty with notes of red currant and grassy hops. Very good!

Bottled. Clear deep golden. Estery banana aroma. Sweet and fruity. Near full bodied with pleasant deep malt character, yet with clean mouthfeel. Lightly salty finish with a lot of artificial banana.

Hint of fruit and yeast in aroma and flavour. Light orange juice colour. Nice, malty, peppery flavour. Mild bitter finish.
