Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body under a finger-thick, dense, off-white head. Cellar, fruits, malts, some roasted and sweet malts and brown sugar on the nose. Sweet, sugary and malty flavor with cellar and fruits. Hints of butterscotch in the finish, sugar and pale malts too. A bit warm in the mouth, sweet, and medium to full-bodied. Some spiced notes too. A rather unusual and too warm one. 090828

Bottled at 3rd Brugs BF. Listed as 6.8% ABV. Hazy yellow orange colour, white head, hop leaves poured with the beer in the glass. Aroma of yeast, green apples, cellery. Flavour is fruity, cellery, some tobacco, caramel. Light to medium bodied. This wasn’t good at all, lots of off flavours, I guess I had a bad bottle.

Clear yellow with a big but rapidly disappearing white head. Aroma of Lemon Pledge. Full bodied, faint grapefruit taste with a solidly bitter edge and finish.

Very dark brown with massive tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel and licorice. Sweetish flavor, with notes of raisins and cinnamon. Interesting, but could be more complex and better balanced.

Bottle 33 cl. Cloudy brown with floaties and a beige head. Lovely oxidized aroma, nuts, overripe fruit, brown sugar and alcohol. Medium body, roasted malts, oxidized woody notes, Sherry and an underlying tartness - a lurking infection? Doesn’t spoil the fun though. No real bitterness. Quite delicious really. 100909

Bottle, 9% on the label. Dark brown color, chunks of yeast. Malt and toffee in the aroma. Malty flavor with mango, toffee and a hint of butter. Upcoming sourness. The beer seems slightly infected. There should be more roast in the finish.

Pours a fizzy, hazy brownish red - aroma of clover honey, a lot of yeasty character, toasted malts, some nutty qualities - full carbonation in the mouth - the flavor lacks character - it’s pretty much just honey and light earthy bitterness - some toasted character and quite a bit of yeastiness - a bit of spiciness and warmth on the back end - kind of chalky in the finish - some caramelized sugars way on the end of the finish - boring, but nice enough.
