Pours clear golden with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of pineapple, banana, pear, soggy white bread, corn, yeast, coriander. Taste has sweet pineapple, estery banana, thick yeasty & bready profile with some spices. Dryish, floral hoppy finish, still spicy & estery with apparent jenever-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Correct but cliché.

Too much carbonation. A bit irony, some caramel and notes of dried fruit. Not very well balanced.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a tasting glass. Opaque amber brown colour, small fizzy beige head, mostly diminishing, minimal lacing. Aroma sweet malt, caramel, candy sugar, molasses, cinnamon. Taste light heavy sweet and mild malt bitter, caramel, candy sugar, molasses, dark fruits, cinnamon, alcohol. Medium to full body, sticky texture, average carbonation, malty and fruity sweetbitter aftertaste, surprisingly short finish, some woody and spicy notes, nice but a bit disappointing after all.

Golden color with chunks of yeast. malty, vinous aroma. A slight hopbitterness in the flavor is beaten by a strong alcohol character. Likeable, but not too well balanced. Bottled 15/06/04 tasted 06.01.08: Sold as Deventer triple. Golden color. Malt, honey and a hint of flowers in the aroma. malty sweet flavor with flowery hops and pineapple. Soft flowery vanilla bitter aftertaste. Well balanced tripel, maybe a bit thin. (7 3 7 3 13 = 3.3)
