Clear light blond beer, unstable, white fizzy head, little adhesive. Aroma: bit of grassy hops, sugar, sweet corn, cloves. MF: ok carbon, light body. Taste: bit sweet, citric, bread dough, yeast. Aftertaste: chemical bitterness and cloves. Didn't finish...

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average frothy white head. Strawy aroma, hints of bitter hop. Monotonous more strawy than malty taste, a hint of bitter hop, hoppy finish on the edge to soapy.

Far east lager that is very western in character, easy to find, easy to drink.

Bottle. Clear golden with a white head. Hard to pick up anything from the aroma. Flavour is slight citrus, corn and malt.

33cl can (8%) brewed in Cambodia. Pours black with a light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, liquorice, some dark chocolate and hints of coffee. Well balanced with the alcohol well integrated. Smooth and quite delicious. Very nice foreign stout! (Second time I tried it, it was not as good, so it’s a bit hard to rate, but I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt) (2012-04-29)

Oct 2006 from BA: 330ml brown bottle, imported into the UK by ’Tiger Beer UK Ltd’. Pours fine, looks good. Smells of dirty washing, without my pants in the mix. That is a little unfair, dirty malt and dirty water aroma is more correct. Tastes OK, a little dry and a bit watery for 5%, but a standard lager non the less. Lightwieght mouthfeel, although the dryness lingers for a while. A drink for hot sunny days, not much call for it in Great Britain, so I shall not be looking out for it, unless we have a heatwave or global warming starts to mess with my town!

Clear golden coloured body with a thin one centimetre white head. Aroma of lemons, deep malt (for the style) with a strong metallic note. Light-bodied; Sharp pungent metallic and malty note with a touch of citrus, some off mushroomy and musty flavours with very little else. Aftertaste is just as bad with the only thing worth drinking some light sweetness and perhaps a touch of non-funked malt, and that’s about it. Overall, not really worth drinking, however if you are here in Singapore and have had the Guinness and ABC beers as much as possible and can’t afford another pint at Brewerkz, then this might be up your alley to sample yet another junky lager that’s way overpriced because of the liqour laws. I sampled this 33 cL can purchased at TSA Wines in Singapore, Singapore on 23-April-2011 brought back to the other side of the world, sampled at home in Washington on 12-April-2012.

320 ml can, at Singapore Airport Changi. ABV is 6.8%. Black colour, moderate beige head (no nitrogen). Roasty aroma and flavour, coffee notes, quite dry. Okay, but there is not much complexity here.

Originally rated May 2005. This Singapore lager pour a golden colour with a head that dissapears rather quickly and harldy leaves any lace. The aroma is not that bad, kind of grain malt and sweet a bit. So is the taste - mild in malt and grain. Nothing mind-renching. Refreshing though.
