Bottom of the can stamped 03/24/15.
This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking copper color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute leaving light streams of lacing.
The smell had a glossy sweet citrus to light bitter citrus imparting a light spice to balance.
The taste was sweet to bitter and added the light spice to enliven and help to accentuate a nice bitterness rolling into the aftertaste and adding a decent dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation rolls over my tongue nicely with a good IPA harshness. The bitterness level is at a medium level.
Overall, I say this was a nice AIPA that I would have again.

This beer is a clear orange-straw color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, pine and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of grapefruit, piney hops and grainy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

16 oz can pour, shared by Nick. Much thanks! Pours a fizzy orange color with a short bubbly head. Nice bready aroma with a good hop presence. Nice slightly bitter hop flavor with hints of orange. Love the hop filled flavor. Solid IPA for sure. Good stuff.

Sample at Bad Parenting Club (plus a few dirty aunt/uncles?!): NC Beer Edition on 03/28/2015. Brownish-black color with a medium tan head that dissipates gradually to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and mild coffee. Light to medium body with with flavors of chocolate malt, coffee and subtle coconut. The finish is roasty with a chocolate and coconut aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Can chugged in around 3 minutes due to late running flights at The Carolina Beer Co @ CTL, 15/02/15 start of a road trip adventure - kind of! Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is pine, citric rinds, light grapefruit, straw. Taste comprises a sharp citric intake, pine is more prominent, grapefruit, bitter orange, grassy. Medium bodied, fine carboantion, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Decent IPA.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours near black with a chocolate brown head that dissipates to the edges and a some visible chocolate looking flakes. Aroma has a good amount of dark grains and chocolate with a slight boozy note underlying. Flavor is similar with bitter dark chocolate and dark grains with a hint of booze underlying.

Canned 12/22/14 - Pours dark brown, almost black with a smooth white head. Aroma of cocoa, roasty malts, vanilla, hints of coconut and chocolate. Taste is smooth, roasty and slightly hoppy with some notes of chocolate, coconut, cocoa and vanilla. Finish is roasty and robust with some cocoa, coconut and coffee notes. Quite smooth and balanced.

Tap in Charlotte airport - hazy orange - a pretty nice, chewy ipa, with a hefty malt background that is perhaps a little sweet - however, the hop profile juicy, bitter, with an acidity that cuts the sweetness nicely and brings a lot of citric flavors - bitterness lingers on the palate but is not abrasive or overpowering - this is nice.

Aroma has toffee typical to british ales, coffee and licorice. Flavour has somewhat salty licorice, sweet and deep roasted tones, cold coffee and some ash. Quite pleasant for this ABV, I like the sweet cocoa notes here.
