Location: Draft at Dandelion Market, 12/1/14

Aroma: This one has a clean grapefruit and pale malt aroma.
Appearance: It is cloudy and gold in color, with a white head, and plenty of lace.
Flavor: It has a light, clean flavor, lightly sweet, and medium bitter (finishes a little more bitter).
Palate: This one is fairly light bodied, with a soft feel, and a dry (late) finish.
Overall Impression: It drinks almost like a session IPA. The bitterness comes out really late, and not until it warms a bit. Still very solid stuff that I would happily drink again, and the way it sessions, it could be dangerous.

This brew pours a hazy orange-gold color with a medium creamy white head that diminishes gradually. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is lemony with grassy hop and malt notes. Medium-bodied with flavors of zesty citrus, piney hops and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering citrusy hops aftertaste. Solid IPA all around.

Shaker pint draft at the brewery in Charlotte, North Carolina. The pour is a hazed yellow golden with not much of a white head. The aroma shows a light tartness along with a bit of salt. The taste is a clean simple blend of wheat grain, that is bit husky, soft tart and then restrained salt in the finish. The palate is light bodied with soft carbonation and a dry salt finish. Super drinkable, well made Gose.

Draft at Release the Funk. Cloudy pale yellow color, fluffy white head. Huge spice aroma. Taste is earthy, with lots of coriander on a citrus background. Didn’t care for this one very much, as the spice overwhelms the subtle earthiness of the gose.
